Host Alan Rogers, a professional blacksmith, introduces you to working blacksmiths around the worlds art and industry, shows how metalwork is part of our lives and points out remarkable examples of the blacksmith's craft. The program visits workshops filled with glowing metal, flying sparks, and ringing hammers. You will learn how to get started in the craft as well as the basics of working metal.
