Bond-N-Flex structural hoof bonding material comes in black or beige colors. Bond-N-Flex is a revolutionary hoof repair/rebuild material, which is economical, quick and easy to use!
Bond-N-Flex can be used to repair all types of hoof wall cracks and avulsions and to reconstruct low weak heels and thin walled hooves. It can be used to bond aluminum alloy, nylon, plastic or steel shoes to feet where nailing-on is limited or impossible, thus enabling horses with severe hoof problems to be comfortable for competition and leisure.
Bond-N-Flex should be used in a well-ventilated area and should be kept away from sparks and open flame. Please read labels on each cartridge carefully before use. Use gloves to avoid contact with skin. Bond-N-Flex strongly advises to grind the finish from the hoof surface of the shoe. Take care not to touch surface again. Apply Bond-N-Flex to a thickness of a quarter an inch to the shoe. Then let Bond-N-Flex cure slightly and fit firmly. Hold shoe in place for a few minutes. Latex gloves are recommended, as is a spatula. A spatula can be cut from a plastic alcohol bottle. A pliable spatula is suggested.
Bond-N-Flex suggests having a disposable small plastic container like the bottom of an alcohol bottle when several tubes of Bond-N-Flex are needed. Wrap foot in plastic wrap after you have wiped away and filled any cracks and voids. The use of a blow dryer will help in the curing process. Once cured 75% allow horse to rest foot. Take care not to let prepared hoof have contact with the ground without being rapped in sheet cotton and plastic wrap. Be clean! Grind shoe finish from the contact side of the "fitted" shoe. Do not touch prepared surface of shoe again. Discard first inch of Bond-N-Flex from mixing tip. It's recommend not to paint hoof oil directly onto Bond-N-Flex.
