Made in Texas by Jim Poor. The hammer is made of 4140 alloy steel and are hardened on the striking surfaces of the hammer. The body of the hammer is slightly softer, which absorbs some of the vibration caused when the hammer strikes another object.

The hammer is perfectly balanced. By balanced, we mean, they are the same weight on the pien side as on the flat side. This is what keeps the hammer from wanting to twist in your hand.
