Leather Pad

Leather conforms to the hoof for a custom fit. Foreign materials are less likely to become trapped between the pad and the sole. It "breathes" - the hoof sweats less - and the opportunity for thrush to incubate decreases. It allows moisture to penetrate evenly and naturally yet not become trapped. Leather is disposable and biodegradable.

J-Line Thin Oval Pad

These quality pads have been used by farriers for the past 25 years, and proven to be as good as it gets. The pads are clear and are made from Polyurethane. Polyethylene is tough, but Polyurethane is tougher.
