Castle Plastics has been in the hoof pad industry for ten years and the plastic busines for 80 years. They have introduced most of the successful pads in the past decade. Guided by farriers worldwide, today these pads are used extensively every day around the world. Castle pads are manufactured in the USA from virgin polyurethane material.
If your shoeing requirements demand a wedge pad, choose from our four sizes of bar wedges or three sizes of full wedges. We also offer an alternative material for the farrier seeking hardness and rigidity. This material offers no shock absorption and is called plastic polymer.
Pads available in this material are the Double Nail Pad, 2 degree wedge, 3 degree bullseye; and full wedges #2, #3, and #4.
