Cherry Red instantly case hardens steel parts with no special heat-treating equipment required. Quickly and easily impart a hard case to steel tools, dies, gears, machined parts, metalworking parts, blades, fixtures and other wear parts.

This non-flammable powder material is simple and easy to apply and does not require prior case hardening experience. Users have reported a 60 Rockwell C hardness on 1018 steels.

Acro-Tin (Dry Form) Tinning Compound

Acro-Tin is a pure tinning powder that can be used for tinning bearings, radiator connections and auto bodies.

To tin surface, remove paint, oil and excessive rust. Heat surface to degree necessary to melt solder. Apply with steel wool or wire brush. To make paste, add water to desired consistency. To tin welds, mix with HC1 in glass container and apply while weld is still hot. Residue may be removed immediately after soldering with a damp cloth.

Acro-Soder Tinning Paste - 1 lb

Acro-Soder is a pure tinning paste that cleans, fluxes, tins and solders in one operation. Recommended for tinning auto bodies.

May be thinned with water. It will solder coat all metals except aluminum. It puts the solder where you want it and can be used in conjunction with soldering copper, torch, heating oven or electrical heating devices. Is excellent for soldering copper fittings. If used sparingly, a fillet made with wire solder is desirable to insure seal. Residue may be removed immediately after soldering with a damp cloth.
