Pieh Legacy Collection Farrier Apron

Designed for the Pieh Legacy Collection with the input of many farriers. Our apron is made locally, in Camp Verde, Arizona.

The body of the apron gives extra cover on the outside, while not bulking up the outside with stiff kneepads, keeping the kneepads where you need them-between your legs and on your front thighs.

The 2 generous knife pockets are set at an angle so that the knife is easier to grab and are deep enough to protect your knife. The Knife pockets are reinforced along the top edge and are both sewn and riveted on. The leather belt attaches with an adjustable metal Roller Buckle on one end and 2 snaps on the other end. The leg straps are secured with a snap style fastener so you can get out of your apron quick.

Our apron features double stitching throughout.The groin area is left open for more comfort and mobility. The handsome rust color of the suede leather may vary. Made from top quality split cowhide.

Length: 27 inches, tapering to 25 inches at outer leg.

You can also order the apron with straight pockets if you do not want the angled knife pocket style.
We can sew a 3" Magnet below the knife pocket on either side or both sides. Magnet is enclosed in leather on back side.

Gibbins Blake Super Lite Apron

The latest Gibbins design was created with the help of Blake Brown - farrier and clinician in California, USA. The body of the Blake is cut like a Tear-Away but the legs give extra cover on the outside - keeping the knife well out of the way. The Blake has a 50 mm (2") webbing belt with a quick release fastener and features the patented Combination Leg Fixings. These combine the Tenax fastener with a velcro strip that gives quick release and vertical adjustment. Generous patches where you need them

Gibbins Flame Master Tear-Away Apron, Short

The Gibbins Flame Master apron is made with flame retarding Nylon. Apron has Velcro fastenings at the legs and waist, plus a buckle to adjust the waist. Flamemaster fabrics combine state-of-the-art technology in flame retardant finishing, with the hardwearing and aesthetic properties of cotton-rich polyester blends.

The fabric will not ignite, burn or smoulder once heat source is removed. It provides effective protection against thermal and radiant heat and offers high resistance to welding sparks while protecting the farrier from oily dirt.

Gibbins Tear-Away Apron

The Gibbins Tear-Away apron is made of Superthistle, top-of-the range suede and of bull's hide. Superthistle has been specially designed for use by farriers. It retains its moisture and tends to leather-up with use. It is strong and supple without excessive weight.

Apron has Velcro fastenings at the legs and waist, plus a buckle to adjust the waist. It has two pockets and reinforced patches. This style gives another 8 inches of material below the knee patches.

Gibbins Wrap Around Apron, Long

The Gibbins wrap around apron is made of Superthistle, top-of-the range suede and of bull's hide. Superthistle has been specially designed for use by farriers. It retains its moisture and tends to leather-up with use. It is strong and supple without excessive weight.

Apron is fastened around the waist with 1-1/2 inch belt and buckle. Legs are fastened with multi-position, quick release snap fastner. There is generous reinforcing patches and a pocket on each leg. This style is open in the front and is sits lower on the hips (low rise) offering added flexibilty. Knife pockets are low on the leg.

Valley California Style Apron

The Valley California aprons are made from top-quality pearl split cowhide and features double stitched knee patches for safety and comfort. Leather leg ties have a snap for easy and fast release. Two knife pockets are deep enough to protect your knife and allow easy access. Knife pockets are reinforced along the top edge and are both sewn and riveted on.

We offer two belt styles
Velcro Belt: The belt has an adjustable buckle on one end and attaches with velcro underneath belt.
Snap Belt: The belt has an adjustable buckle on one end and safety snaps on the other for fast removal.
